About Broad Ripple Music Fest
The third annual BRMF will invade Indy's favorite cultural community mecca on Saturday, October 17th. The historic Broad Ripple Village will be the canvas for over 200 local, regional and national artists performing on 20 stages including historic live music staples such as the Vogue Theatre, as well as dance clubs, neighborhood watering holes and even family and children's venues. Attendance is expected to exceed 3500 this year, as the overall profile of the festival has increased dramatically from years past.
The mission of the Broad Ripple Music Fest is to unite the community in which we live, work and escape to. What better way to bring everyone together than with an epic celebration?
Last year’s BRMF included 21 venues (spanning from 38th Street to 71st street) featuring 175 bands. Attendance exceeded 2,500 and we were able to raise $2200 for 19 different charities and receive media coverage by WRTV, FOX 59, WTTS and NUVO. We expect this year’s festival to be an even greater success, by expanding upon the Friday kickoff concert at The Vogue Nightclub, including local promoters and showcases, plenty of local, regional and national sponsorship opportunities, all access wristbands, and more family and all-ages events.
This year’s festival will grow to include 25 stages and 200+ local, regional and national artists spanning every possible genre including rock, hip hop, dance, electronic, world, and even children’s music. Proceeds from this year’s BRMF will benefit local non-profit partner, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, and will be funneled back into the neighborhood to help keep it clean, green and sustainable. Current sponsors include Small Box Web Design, WTTS, Nuvo Newsweekly, My Old Kentucky Blog, The Broad Ripple Village Association, Transpanther Group and Musical Family Tree.
